We’ve done more work around Ilford than anywhere else lately, especially in Clayhall, Barkingside and Gants Hill.
Most of the houses we work on in Ilford are 1930s semis. They’re good houses to extend: a hip-to-gable loft conversion with a rear dormer adds a big bedroom and often an en-suite, and a rear extension with a roof lantern or rooflights opens the back of the house up into one kitchen, dining and living space.
The photos below are all from recent jobs in Clayhall and Barkingside. On a couple of them we did everything from the steels going in to the fitted wardrobes, media walls and bathrooms at the end, so you can see the whole job, not just the shell.
Ilford is in Redbridge Council. Many lofts and smaller extensions can go ahead under permitted development, but some roads have restrictions, so we check your address before we quote.
