Dagenham is home for us. Our yard is on Turnage Road, so we’re never far away when you need us.
A lot of Dagenham is the Becontree estate: brick terraces and semis built between the wars, with small lofts and long gardens. That makes rear extensions and loft conversions the jobs we get asked about most. A rear dormer turns a low loft into a proper bedroom, and a single-storey extension at the back gives you the open kitchen-diner most of these houses were never built with.
We also do a lot of work on the outside of houses round here. The photos below include a Dagenham house we wrapped in external wall insulation and then rendered, which keeps it warmer and gives the whole front a clean, new finish.
Planning for Dagenham goes through Barking and Dagenham Council. Many loft conversions and smaller extensions fall under permitted development, so they don’t need full planning permission, but we’ll check your house properly before we start and sort the paperwork if it does.
